It might just be a synthesis of my own quirks and preferences, but when I saw this bag, I was enamored immediately, and I had to see what else Duluth Pack had to offer. But that’s another story.

First things first, the Duluth Pack Bison Leather Sportsman’s Duffel is flat-out magnificent to look at. Heads will turn, so be prepared for your new acquisition to be both functional item and fun conversation piece!

You’re getting an American made duffel crafted from some of the finest material out there: Real bison leather, outdoor-engineered YKK zippers, rolled, riveted handles, and so on mean this is one bag that you’ll end up clutching to for life. As you continue to use it, the character of the leather, alongside the storytelling nicks and scrapes will bring this duffel to life.

It’s called a “weekender” for a reason; it’s got a 47-liter capacity! That’s enough for easily three days’ worth of clothes and utilities and a book or two, electronics and peripherals, whatever you need. If it won’t fit in the gigantic main cavity, the two internal side pockets should have you covered. If it won’t fit in there, well, you probably don’t need it. During my own field test, I was able to fit a pair of boots inside with ease; that should say it all in terms of generous size.
