Meaning: On August 31, 2015, David got the tattoo ‘Buster’ on the right side of his neck. This tattoo is a tribute to his eldest son ‘Brooklyn Joseph’ who was born on March 4, 1999. Buster is the nickname of his son, Brooklyn. On August 31, 2015, David uploaded the picture of this tattoo on his Instagram account, with the caption,

I’ve always called Brooklyn ( Buster ) since the day he was born…. Love you Bust.”

5. ‘Jesus and Cherubs’ Tattoo

Tattoo: ‘Jesus and Cherubs’ tattoo on his left pec.

Meaning: David got the tattoo of ‘Jesus and Cherubs’ inked on his left pec. The tattoo is a portrait of Jesus which is designed to look as if the three baby angels are lifting Jesus from his tomb. David got this tattoo inked in 2011. In an interview, he said,

It’s Jesus being carried by three cherubs and obviously the cherubs are my boys and so my thought of it is that at some point my boys are going to need to look after me and that’s what they’re doing in the picture. It means a lot.”

7. ‘Angel’ Tattoo

Tattoo: ‘Angel’ tattoo on his right shoulder that continues till his right arm.

Meaning: David got the tattoo of an ‘angel’ with the words ‘In the face of adversity’ inked on his right shoulder and arm. This tattoo was an expression of his distress during the personal crisis alleging his affair with model and personal assistant Rebecca Loos in 2004.

8. ‘Cherubs’ Tattoo

Tattoo: ‘Cherubs’ tattoo on his right biceps.

Meaning: David got the tattoo of two cherubs inked on his right bicep to represent his sons, Brooklyn and Romeo.

9. ‘Cherub and the Hebrew’ Tattoo

David got a tattoo on his left arm in 2008 featuring another cherub which is supposedly for his third son, Cruz, accompanied by a Hebrew saying, ‘My son, do not forget my teachings but keep my commands in your heart’.
