As momentum builds for the release of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, entertainment studio Capcom has teamed up with Cocalero for an officially branded Resident Evil spirit.
The animated CGI series featuring Leon and Claire will be released on Netflix on July 8. Watch the trailer here:
Capcom has announced the collaboration ahead of time so you can get acquainted with the green herbal spirit.
Cocalero, billed as the “Spirit of the Andes,” is named after South American coca leaf farmers. The spirit melds coca leaf and 16 different botanicals together into a bright green liquid not dissimilar from absinthe.
Other botanicals include guarana, juniper, and ginseng, and the spirit is usually released at 29% alcohol by volume (ABV). Cocalero can be served ice-cold from the freezer, in mixed drinks, Mojitos, or a host of other classic cocktails.

Stay tuned for pricing on the Limited Edition release (Biohazard in Japan, where Cocalero is quite popular), which will be timed to coincide with the release of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.
