Alexandra Sholler, better known as Alison Wonderland, is an Australian DJ, singer, and electronic dance music producer. She rose to fame with her debut album, Run in 2015. Her second album, Awake peaked at no.1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums. She is also the highest billed female DJ in the history of Coachella.

Alison has many tiny tattoos all over her arms. Let us take a look at them and the meanings behind them.

1. ‘Rose and Eye’ Tattoo

Tattoo: The inside of her right forearm has a rose stick tattooed on it along with the letter, “M” beside it. There is also an eye tattooed on the inside of her right wrist along with the word, “graceland” near the eye.

Meaning: The tattoo of the eye on her wrist was done by herself and the word, “graceland” represents the name of one of her favorite albums, “Graceland” by Paul Simon. The “M” on her arm serves a dual purpose. It represents the name of her dog, Molly, and her own stage name, Wonderland when read upside down.

2. ‘Bird’ Tattoo

Tattoo: The inside of her right forearm also has a tiny swallow bird tattooed on it in red ink.

3. ‘Moon’ Tattoo

Tattoo: There is a crescent moon tattooed on the inside of her right arm, near her elbow.

Meaning: The tattoo of the moon is a matching tattoo she got with DJ Hoodboi to represent their friendship.

4. ‘Calm Down’ Tattoo

Tattoo: The side of her right forearm also has the words, “CALM DOWN” tattooed on it in reverse.

Meaning: The tattoo represents the name of her first EP and also helps her with her anxiety.

5. ‘Key and Cloud’ Tattoo

Tattoo: There is a key tattooed on Alison’s right bicep and a small cloud with raindrops tattooed on the inside of her right elbow.

6. ‘Alien, Container, and Number’ Tattoo

Tattoo: The side of her left forearm has an alien’s head tattooed on it. There is also a tiny container tattooed on the inner side of her left forearm with a tag that reads, “LEFT“. The roman number, “XXVII” is also tattooed on the inside of her left forearm.
