7. Chest Tattoos

Tattoo: The footballer’s left pec contains a large tattoo of a decaying skull with one hollow eye socket and the other one still containing the eyeball. The skull is covered in worms and lines representing hair. The middle part of his chest contains a map outline of Europe done behind longitude and latitude lines. His right pec contains a tattoo of a compass. Below the compass, the roman letters, “XXII V MMXII” and ” XII II MMIX” are tattooed. Just behind his compass, are the tattoos of the cards, A of clubs, 5 of hearts and 10 of spades.

Meaning: The map contains his home country, Serbia. The compass goes with the map tattoo as a tool to find his way. The date, “XXII V MMXII” means 22-05-2012 and is the date of birth of his son, Nikola Kolarov. The date,” XII II MMIX” means, 12-02-2009 which is the date on which his daughter, Una Kolarov was born.

8. Portraits on Right Forearm

Tattoo: The inner side of his right forearm contains a tattoo of portraits of a little boy and a girl. His right bicep also contains a few lines inked on it.

Meaning: The portraits are of his son, Nikola Kolarov who he named after his brother and his daughter, Una Kolarov.

9. City Tattoo

Tattoo: The defender’s upper right arm and shoulder are covered in a tattoo of a portrait of the city of Rome. The outer side shows a few buildings and the inner side shows the Roman Colosseum with eagles flying over it. His wrist also contains the tattoo of an anchor.

10. Man and Scythe Tattoo

Tattoo: The inner part of his right forearm also contains a tattoo of an old man holding a large rod with a blade attached to it.

Meaning: The man is holding a scythe and is a reference to the Grim Reaper.
