Amazon Adds Hugo Boss To Brand Line Up

Online Retailer Debuts Outerwear Edit

Amazon has added Hugo Boss to its line-up for AW14. The luxury German brand’s Boss Green and Boss Orange collections are now available via the online retailer’s fashion store. It comes as the business launches its AW14 Coat Edit, which comprises a hand-picked selection of 400 men’s outerwear pieces from the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Great Plains, French Connection and Levi’s. Speaking about the feature, Amazon Fashion’s European vice president Sergio Bucher said: “We want to make it easy for customers to browse and find the right coat for their winter wardrobe so we’ve handpicked our top pieces and added videos of these products so customers can see how they fit.” The branded collection was curated by the e-tailer’s in-house stylist, Marie Davies, who offered her insight into one of the key trends for the season: “A smart sports direction is key for AW14 with updated quilted coats and down jackets setting the pace.” Launched in 2008, fashion is a growing part of the Amazon offering, adding new brands and retailers such as Selected Homme and Pretty Green in recent seasons. The department recently teamed up with Kaiser Chiefs to help showcase its new collections. Pieces in the Coat Edit are available to buy online now priced between £25 – £480.
