Yeah, you read the headline correctly. Luxury Russian brand Caviar has released a limited edition gold-plated AirPods Max Headphone. These bespoke over the ear headphones retail for an eye-watering $108,000 – a whopping 200 times more than the standard AirPods Max.

Caviar’s luxurious AirPods Max is covered with 18-carat pure gold and features crocodile leather in black or white. “If you appreciate sophisticated design, laconicism and innovation, this model was created for you,” the listing reads on Caviar’s website.

Anyone worried these modifications will cause sound issues can rest easy, with the Apple H1 chip unaffected by the gold-plating, meaning you’ll still experience the exceptional sound quality Apple produces deliver.

What makes these headphones even more exclusive is their availability, with only one of each color going on sale. Considering the price tag, it’s no surprise these headphones are one of a kind.
