Watch Topman Design’s Full AW17 Show On FashionBeans

Between them, London Fashion Week Men’s (formerly London Collections Men) and British high street favourite Topman continue prove why London and the UK is such a hotbed for menswear.

Opening proceedings for the four-day extravaganza once again, the brand’s front row was awash with big names including models Oliver Cheshire and Jack Guinness, singer James Bay and Youtuber Jim Chapman trying to get a first look at the biggest autumn/winter 2017 trends. And we doubt any of them left without a few styling tips for the months ahead. Topman Design’s AW17 collection kept the love for Britain going with clothes influenced by our land’s great pubbing and clubbing scene. The 1990s made a huge comeback in the form of oversized sportswear covered with pub-inspired graphics, punk style puns and neon colours, offering a more casual alternative to the bright knitwear on show. The rave even extended to suits, which appeared as mismatched wool tailoring and quilted nylon tracksuits, while trousers flipped between a slim silhouette with a cuffed finish or big and baggy shapes. When it came to outerwear it was a mix of slouchy coats in textured wool, bright coloured trench coats and, of course, what’s a bit of nineties without shearling collars? If you can’t wait until the collection hits stores or missed our live stream of the show here on FashionBeans, don’t panic. Just re-watch it again below. You can shop the latest Topman collection now in store and online.
