What Is Watch Gang?

I first heard of Watch Gang from my friend Jon Shanahan. Jon and I co-host a The Buttoned Up podcast, and he runs his own YouTube channel called The Kavalier.

Jon doesn’t claim to be a full on watch enthusiast, but he describes himself as “watch curious”. He’s been a Watch Gang subscriber for a while now has good things to say about the company.

How Does Watch Gang Work?

Watch Gang has three tiers:

1. Original, which is $29/month
2. Black, which is $99/month
3. Platinum, which is $299/month

You pick a plan, and then you get one watch delivered to your door each month.

No matter which tier you sign up for, Watch Gang will send you a watch that’s worth 2-5x as much as the cost of the subscription.

In other words, if you sign up for basic $29/month plan, they’ll send you watches that sell online for $50-150.

You don’t pick specific watches or brands, but you do get to specify which types of watches you prefer – casual or dressy, large or small, etc.

It’s not guaranteed that you’ll get a watch that meets all of your criteria, but they do their best to get you something you’ll enjoy.
