The crew neck designs feature the former New York-based talent’s use of patterns, dots and nets, seen throughout her career across paintings, drawings, film and performance.

wYellow, white, black and red colour ways are carried with a mix of all-over, front and breast pocket prints.

Slogans such as ‘love forever’ and ‘dots obsessed’ appear, a reference to Kusama’s recognisable style.

The range forms part of Uniqlo’s UT line, which aims to showcase work by artists in a never before seen way.

Earlier in the year it tapped up Pharrell Williams to produce a range of t-shirts under the singer’s I am Other company.

The brand announced plans to roll out 35 new themes and over 1,200 colours and patterns on t-shirts throughout SS14.

Kusama has previously worked with Louis Vuitton under the creative direction of Marc Jacobs and taken over the windows and concept store of Selfridges.

All ten styles in the Uniqlo UT x Yayoi Kusama range are available to buy from today, with prices starting from £12.90.
