Justin Smeeth started his apprenticeship in Newcastle in 2009. And throughout his career of tattooing, he has been featured in many iconic Brisbane tattoo studios which include Sacred Rose and Trailer Trash. In 2014, beside fellow artist JJ Allinson, he established Shinko Tattoo intending to carve out his own place on the Brisbane tattooing picture that would raise the abilities of its tattoo artists and build a workplace that appears like a home. Justin practices in black and grey realism tattooing nevertheless his artistic experience gives him the independence to take on any piece that sparks his curiosity in any way.

Ryan De Los Santos is a tattoo artist in Shinko Tattoo Brisbane and found his start in the tattoo industry at the age of 24 at a Los Angeles street shop where he was provided an induction to the work by his coach Jay Miyagi. He went on to work under this teacher at a California-based shop called Black Talon. It was through this time when Ryan realized his enthusiasm for Japanese-style tattooing and realism.

For the coming decade, Ryan weighed his career in tattooing with a 9 to 5 job, usually tattooing through the night to maintain to progressing his art and skill set within his chosen forms. In 2015, he jumped to proceed towards tattooing full-time at Shinko Tattoo. Throughout the course of his tattooing career, Ryan has held on many international guest spots and tattooed at various Australian conventions. When he is not tattooing or in the studio he is busy spending time with his family and friends, especially his children.
