Tartakovsky’s Star Wars: Clone Wars to Hit Disney+ April 2

It’s finally happening. Revered 2000s classic animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars – created by legendary animator Genndy Tartakovsky – is coming to Disney+ this April 2.

While not part of Star Wars canon, Tartakovsky’s Star Wars: Clone Wars series originally aired on Cartoon Network in the early 2000s, and was hugely popular for fans. The show’s success led to the creation of the contemporary Star Wars: The Clone Wars series that’s currently available on Disney+.

Tartakovsky’s Clone Wars series originally aired as a series of shorts and was edited into two volumes for its DVD release. The two volume version will be how it’s displayed on Disney+.

Along with Tartakovsky’s animated series, Disney+ will also release Star Wars: Ewoks and The Story of the Faithful Wookiee amongst other titles, with the latter notable for being the first appearance of the bounty hunter Boba Fett.

Make sure you don’t miss any episodes of Star Wars: Clone Wars by signing up to Disney+.
