Monitor the Frequency of Wearing Your Suit

It should be no surprise that the more you wear your suit, the more wear and tear it will endure. Being that most modern work conditions don’t call for the need to wear a suit daily, the majority of men do not have to worry about this tip. However, if you do in fact have to wear a suit daily, or even just weekly, it is very important that you rotate them out and avoid wearing the same suit multiple days in a row. Similarly to shoes, if you wear them too often, they will get worn out quicker.

It is also important to know that after wearing a suit all day, you must allow it to hang for at least 24 hours so that any residual moisture dries. If the suit is made from heavier material, allow 48 hours of drying time. Once the suit has fully dried, it will be able to fall back into its optimal drape.
