Roger Meddows Taylor, the famous drummer for the rock band Queen, is an English musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist by profession. In a pool conducted in 2005, Taylor was voted as the eighth-greatest drummer in classic rock music history. Roger is famous by multiple names but, his love for body tattoos is just recent. He claims that he started getting tattoos too late in life, but he loves getting inked. He has few body tattoos. Let us see what they are and what relevance do they have for Roger.

“I love tattoos,” he beams, “very late in life… It’s probably the best way,” he adds. “It doesn’t matter anymore – there’s nobody to tell me off. It’s my way of saying ‘fuck you!’”

1. Right Arm Tattoo

Tattoo: On his right forearm, Roger has got a colorful tattoo done.

Meaning: This was Roger’s first body tattoo. The tattoo includes the Egyptian God Osiris holding an Ankh. According to Roger, the tattoo represents Life and Death.

2. Right Hand Tattoo

Tattoo: On his right hand’s wrist, Roger has got a tattoo inked in the shape of a permanent bracelet.

Meaning: The tattoo contains multiple beads along its string and a skull in between, followed by a red-colored feather towards the end. Such tattoos are the symbol of keeping evils and wrongs away from your life.

3. Right Arm design

Tattoo: On his inner right arm, Roger has got a tattoo that somehow represents the universe with a full moon and half-moon on its opposite side. Followed by multiple rings and geometrical overlapping triangle tattoos.

4. ‘Japanese Dragon’ Tattoo

Tattoo: There is a big red-orange colored dragon inked on Taylor’s left leg.

Meaning: It is assumed to be a Japanese dragon. Japanese dragons are considered to be the protectors and guards of mankind. Dragons are believed to be the symbol of bravery, wisdom, and strength.
