William Leonard Roberts II professionally known as Rick Ross, is an American rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and record executive. Rick’s entire body is covered in inks of all sorts, but his favorite ones are the ones personal to him. Rick is known to immortalize the best events of his life and thus use his tattoos are the “timekeepers”. There are some tattoos where my artist might have been on mushrooms,” he admits, laughing. “And I’ve just said, ‘I don’t know what the fuck you were smoking, because I dozed off and you done fucked up. You owe me 20 hours, motherfucker!’ But other than that, the memories is what it’s about.”
1. ‘Carol City Cartel’ Tattoo
Tattoo: Near his collar bones Rick has a tattoo that says, ‘Carol City Cartel’.
Meaning: Carol City Cartel or The Triple C is an American hip hop group founded by Rick Ross in 2005. Its other members are Gunplay from Miami, Torch from the Bronx, New York, and Young Breed.
2. ‘100 MILLION’ Tattoo
Tattoo: On the left side of Rick’s stomach there is the tattoo which says, ‘100 MILLION’.
Meaning: “100 Million” is the name of the second single from Birdman’s third studio album, 5 * Stunna. The track included Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne. The song’s idea was based upon what Birdman believes that the major accomplishment of life is ‘spending 100 million dollars’. Tattoo: Under his right eye we can see three crosses tattooed.
Meaning: Cross tattoo tells us about Rick’s religious beliefs, however, the three crosses are used to symbolize two things either, it can represent the three aspects of God in the Christian faith i.e. the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
