Non-NSFW Content Coming Out of OnlyFans’ New Streaming Service
OnlyFans is launching a new service that is sure to please, streaming programs that are NOT NSFW so one can easily enjoy the content on the go. This comes ahead of news that OnlyFans plans to eliminate pornographic content from October onwards.
The UK-based company’s additional free streaming service contains no sexually explicit material, going in a new direction from the company’s past reputation.
Abbreviated as OFTV, OnlyFans Television will offer content from over 100 of its top creators. Program categories will include fitness, comedy, health, music, and cooking among additional interests.
OnlyFans began the on-demand streaming service several months ago in a soft-launch phase. Since then, the library has been built up to include over 800 videos. Popular options are Yoga with Taz and Tennis Class with Adi.
In London, England, OnlyFans got its start as a way for people to sell subscription service content in 2016. It then gained traction with sex workers who use the platform to earn income while engaging directly with audiences.
The “fans” make payments on a monthly basis or using a pay-per-view model. One-time tips have also been another solid way to share money with content producers.
Although many online communities only know of OnlyFans for its adult references; fitness instructors, musicians, and everyday people have found success offering other forms of entertainment on the site.
OnlyFans
This isn’t the first time OnlyFans has shied away from the public relations problems that can come from adult-focused entertainment. In 2019, additional security was added to the website when it began requiring headshots and photo identification to verify performers and content creators.
The adult content won’t find itself on OFTV, however. Because of this fact, the streaming service is more accessible. Device options range from Android, iOs, and Apple TV to Amazon’s Fire TV, Roku, and Samsung Smart televisions.
