Nigel Williams Goss’ 6 Tattoos & their Meanings
Nigel Williams-Goss is an American professional basketball player. He plays in the VTB United League for Lokomotiv Kuban. He was drafted in 2017 by Utah Jazz to the NBA and joined Lokomotiv in 2021.

1. Name Tattoos
Tattoo: The right shoulder of the player has the name, “Valerie” tattooed on it and his left one has the name, “Virgil”
2. Chest Tattoo
Tattoo: The entire chest of the athlete is covered in a large tattoo piece. It consists of buildings, surrounded by two flowers with a banner over the buildings with the words, “Never forget where it all started” written on it. The right side of his chest also has the words, “Proverbs 3:5-6” tattooed on it.
Meaning: The tattoo of the buildings is a tribute tattoo of his hometown, Oregon. The proverbs on his chest represent the bible verse that says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths”
3. Cross Tattoo
Tattoo: Nigel’s stomach is covered by a large tattoo of Jesus Christ crucified on a cross. The words, “All Glory to God” are also tattooed below the cross. The right side of his body has a tattoo of a flower, the words, “Quitting lasts forever”, and a knuckleduster.
Meaning: The tattoo of the cross in the middle of his stomach represents his religious views. The tattoo represents the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to save humanity and the player’s faith in God.
4. Eye Tattoo
Tattoo: The side of his left lower leg has a tattoo of a pyramid on it. The top of the pyramid has a triangle on it with an eye in the middle, surrounded by rays of light. There is also a banner below the pyramid that reads, “THE POWER OF THE EYE”
Meaning: The tattoo represents the All-seeing eye, also called the Eye of Providence. The eye represents divine providence and the eye of God watching over humanity.
