Tattoo: There is a tattoo in a triangular shape containing a Samoan design on his right shoulder.

Meaning: KJ got this tattoo as a tribute to his Samoan heritage. While explaining the tattoo, he said, “Most people think of me as an actor or a musician, but being Samoan is actually a huge part of who I am. I love visiting my family there and the island life just washes over you as soon as you land on that plane. My grandfather was a High Chief of our village. My dad actually took over his role as Chief, and I was really proud of that”

2. ‘Circular Design’ Tattoo

Tattoo:  KJ’s left shoulder too, just like his other one contains an intricate design tattooed on it.

Meaning: KJ loves Samoan patterns and used to draw them everywhere too. This is a design that was made by combining his Samoan heritage with Armenian and Maori heritage of his best friends.

3. ‘Bee and Flower’ Tattoos

Tattoo: The inner side of his right wrist contains a tattoo of a small bee, surrounded by two branches of leaves. There is also a flower tattooed near his wrist.

Meaning: This is a matching tattoo that his mom as well as grandmother have too because his grandmother loves bees. KJ said, “My grandmom and my mom both have the same bee, and I got the wreath around it when I was actually waiting for another tattoo that is on my left shoulder”
