KISS Rocker Gene Simmons Puts Las Vegas Pad on the Market
He might sing about wanting to “rock and roll all night and party every day,” but Gene Simmons is moving on from Las Vegas, America’s party capital. The KISS bassist and co-singer recently splashed $10.8 on a luxury Vegas mansion earlier this year but is already cashing out. According to The Wall Street Journal, Simmons’ wife and children aren’t big fans of Sin City, so the home is back on the market, this time with a price tag of $14.5 million.
“This distinctive and modern estate offers unparalleled artistic beauty unrivaled anywhere in the Las Vegas Valley area,” states the official property listing. “It is truly a property with unparalleled uniqueness, in a location that simply cannot be replicated.”
The contemporary home is located in the small community of Ascaya and offers views of the Vegas Strip. As with many homes in this area, most living areas and bedrooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a spacious vibe throughout the 11,000-square-foot home. The decor includes a mix of natural stone, wood accents, and unfinished concrete, resulting in an inviting, modern feel.

Entry to the six-bedroom and eight-bathroom home is via a private courtyard that has a floating walkway over a koi pond. As this mansion is in Vegas, there is plenty of room for entertaining, including an 11 seat private cinema, fully equipped bar, and an outside patio area with an infinity pool.
There’s also a large garden area that Simmons purchased separately from the home where he had 130 trees planted. It’s a nice little nature escape from the harsh desert and adds something different to the property.
Simmons has been quite active in the property market this year, selling his family home in Benedict Canyon in Los Angeles for $16 million and buying another in Beverly Hills for around $11.5 million.
