The James Bond Collection From Turnbull & Asser
Turnbull & Asser’s 58-year-old strong relationship with Britain’s most famous secret agent will be celebrated with five new products, paying tribute to James Bond and the exclusive pieces worn by him since 1962.
From Sean Connery to Roger Moore, and the finality that will be Daniel Craig in No Time To Die, Turnbull & Asser is bringing fans ever closer to the on-screen originals.
Crafting and refining its expanded James Bond collection, Turnbull & Asser have unveiled five new products to celebrate its 58-year strong relationship with 007.
Paying homage to those garments created for and worn by James Bond on the silver screen, each of the five clothing items has involved stringent consultation with archival products and paperwork. Matching each piece to film stills and many hours of footage, these exclusive items are as close to the real thing as you can get.
Beginning with the director of Dr. No (1962), Terence Young, a loyal customer at Turnbull & Asser, was the first connection that gave birth to the now-iconic Dr. No shirt. Fast forward to 2020, and the new additions include an exceptional voile dress shirt inspired by the shirt made for Pierce Brosnan as James Bond in Die Another Day (2002).
Sporting a pleated front, double cuffs, and T&A’s classic-looking collar, every inch of this shirt is immaculately recreated in homage to its on-screen original.
Lovers of pocket squares will be cheering when they see the addition of an authentic, pure white pocket square. Known for his use of classic pocket squares, T&A created their version of a hand-rolled voile pocket square using knowledge gleaned from archived receipts.
Three new Brosnan-era ties will also be added to the collection, covering Tomorrow Never Dies (1995), The World is Not Enough (1999), and Die Another Day (2002), respectively.
