Is It Possible for Men To Have Multiple Orgasms?

Get ready, you’re going to like this one – because the answer is, yes! According to a 1989 descriptive study, researchers conducted interviews with 21 multi-orgasmic men, some of whom claimed to always have been capable of multiple orgasms. Other men in the study claimed to have experienced this sensation later in life, while the rest have actively learned to become multi-orgasmic. While the study wasn’t incredibly expansive on the hows, ifs, or whys, it did suggest that men are capable of having multiple orgasms.

Another similar 2016 study (because it’s always good to include men of the same century) also showed it was possible for men to have multiple orgasms, though it’s not common. The study discovered that less than 10% of men in their 20s were multi-orgasmic, and the numbers were even lower for those after the age of 30. It suggested that men can have “sporadic” multi-orgasms, typically several minutes apart, or “condensed” multi-orgasms with bursts of two to four orgasms within a few seconds or minutes.
