Simple Homemade Sunscreens:

1. Natural Sunscreen SPF 30:

This is an all-natural sunscreen with SPF 30 because of the presence of its ingredients. If one desires a higher sun protection factor, the amount of zinc oxide in the recipe should simply be increased. To make this sunscreen lotion, the ingredients required are three tablespoon of beeswax pellets, ½ cup of shea butter, ½ cup of coconut oil and four tablespoon of zinc oxide. In a double broiler, place a glass bowl over boiling water and add the beeswax, shea butter and coconut oil into it. Keep stirring it occasionally until it melts completely. Remove the bowl from the heat and add zinc oxide into the mixture. Stir in well with a hand mixer. Take a clean jar and pour the content on it and allow it to cool completely. When done, natural homemade sunscreen is ready to use.

2. Homemade Sunscreen:

To make this homemade sunscreen, the ingredients required are 1 ounce blend of sesame oil, coconut oil, hemp oil, avocado oil, soybean oil and peanut oil, one ounce of beeswax, one ounce butter blend of shea butter, mango butter or cocoa butter, one teaspoon of Vitamin E oil, four tablespoons of zinc oxide powder and 30 drops of your favourite essential oil. In a double broiler, start off by melting the beeswax, butter and the oils stirring occasionally. When done, remove from heat and add the vitamin E oil, zinc oxide powder and the essential oils and stir in with a hand mixer. Allow it to cool completely and then it is ready to use.

3. Natural Homemade Sunscreen Lotion:

This homemade sunscreen require ingredients like four tablespoons of zinc oxide powder, one tablespoon of coconut oil, one tablespoon of cocoa butter, one tablespoon of aloe vera gel, one teaspoon of sesame oil, one teaspoon of beeswax and 5-10 drops of lavender essential oil. Heat all the ingredients in a double broiler stirring occasionally leaving out only zinc oxide powder. When done, remove from heat and add in the zinc oxide powder and mix in with a hand blender. Transfer it into an empty clean container and allow it to cool. When done, the sunscreen lotion is ready to use.
