Hennessy Pairs With Artist Liu Wei for Lunar New Year Limited Edition Bottles

Celebrating Lunar New Year, Hennessy has teamed with Beijing-born artist Liu Wei for a collection of limited edition bottles. Wei’s abstract designs adorn bottles in the V.S.O.P and X.O range.

The colorful creations from Wei are inspired by an original painting entitled Spring. This psychedelic piece includes shades of fuchsia, blue, green, and yellow, and addresses growth and infinite possibilities. Wei’s vibrant designs not only pay homage to the Year of the Ox but also commemorate the 150th anniversary of Hennessy X.O.

“The Year of the Ox is traditionally associated with openness, hope, and confidence. In that spirit, Hennessy has partnered with world-renowned Chinese artist Liu Wei for this year’s Lunar New Year limited release of Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège and X.O to commemorate the occasion,” said the label in a statement.

The Hennessy X.O. comes in a gold and red bottle encased in a black, gold, and red case, while the V.S.O.P. bottle is red and purple and comes in a vibrant box decorated with the same colors.

You can secure both limited edition bottles now at selected retailers starting from $59. For more information visit Hennessy.
