1. Make Time For Exercise:
You might be the busiest person on Earth but you should still take time out to exercise daily for at least 30 to 40 minutes. Go for a walk around the block or a jog. If you cannot take out time for a structured exercise, the try to increase your physical activity levels in some form or the other. Take stairs whenever you can instead of escalators and elevators. While you are working take a break every 1 hour and go for a stroll around your workplace.
2. Never Skip Your Meals:
Even if you are dieting, it is not a healthy practice to skip a meal all together, instead, you can take lighter meals broken into smaller portions spread throughout the day instead of three major meals. This keeps your metabolism active throughout the day and you tend to be charged up during the day both mentally and physically. People wo have a breakfast with well proportioned servings of carbs, protein and a little fat are less likely to grow obese and have diabetes in later life.
3. Get Enough Sleep:
Instead of watching late night television serials each night, catch up on swome sleep as your body needs 6 to 8 hours of undisturbed sleep each night to repair the damage done through the day. Fix a time for retiring to bed to get your body in a habit. Keep a gap of at least two hours between your dinner and bed time. Taking warm milk before going to bed as milk has a substance called tryptophan that induces sleep.
4. Brush And Floss Daily:
Studies conducted all over the world are of an opinion that people who suffer from gingivitis and periodontitis are more likely to suffer from cardiac disorders due to narrowing of the arteries. So, make it a habit to brush twice a day and floss once a day. Also go for professional cleaning of teeth every 6 months to 1 year.
