Gucci & The North Face Collaborate On Outdoor Collection

In one of the surprises of 2020, designer label Gucci and outerwear giants The North Face have teamed up for a collection of outdoor-inspired apparel.

First teased a few months back, this meeting of the fashion titans delivers an eye-catching clothing capsule containing everything from everyday wear to footwear and bags. Inspired by the 70s – Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele loves the style of that decade – the collection includes items influenced by the outdoors featuring bright, warm colors, and alluring patterns and logo designs.

Highlights include a blue puffer jacket with yellow trim, the classic North Face logo t-shirt sporting the new Gucci x The North Face motif created for this collection, and leather hiking boots emblazoned with the new logo. Other items in the capsule include sweatpants, jumpsuits, pattern shirts, fleeces, beanies, backpacks, and sleeping bags. There’s even a Gucci x The North Face tent for those who enjoy the glamping lifestyle.

Another part of the collaboration is a luggage collection consisting of eight items featuring new graphic patterns based on the logos of Gucci and The North Face. The luggage contains ECONYL, a nylon fabric made from repurposed materials, continuing both brands dedication to creating a sustainable clothing industry.

The collection will be available online in early 2021 and is sure to sell out fast.
