Retailer Releases SS15 ‘On Paper’ Issue

Known for its minimalist approach to design, Swedish retailer COS (an acronym of ‘Collection of Style’) has extended its signature aesthetic to the latest issue of its in house magazine. The fashion label looks to “a love of paper as inspiration” this season, with each feature in the publication exploring the rich history and future of the material. Across the issue, we’re treated to interviews with paper experts, including publisher Gerhard Steidl and bookshop owner Sylvia Whitman, as well the musings of six guest contributors who have been challenged to see what they can create using just one square metre of the material. Paper aside, the magazine also highlights new trend updates for the coming season, including a dedicated menswear feature titled ‘Charge’. While COS’ signature minimal staples are a mainstay within the new spring/summer 2015 collection, it seems we can also look forward to a monochrome palette, micro graphic prints and sportswear influences in the form of hooded jackets, loose-fit T-shirts and baseball caps.
