Meaning: The UFC Star revealed that this tattoo was his first tattoo which he had got inked, but the meaning of this tattoo is not even known to him. In an interview, he said,
This was when I was drunk. It could mean anything. Arabic writing was the thing for a while, it was the cool thing to do. I got it in Ayia Napa (Cyprus). I was young and on holiday. It cost me €20.”
2. ‘Crucifix’ Tattoo
Tattoo: ‘Crucifix’ Tattoo on the nape of his neck.
Meaning: A ‘Crucifix’ tattoo represents the ‘event of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion’, which has great importance in Christianity. Due to this tattoo, he is perceived as Catholic by religion, to which Mcgregor disapproves saying he does not believe in any religion. On his Twitter account, he made a tweet regarding religion in 2015. He tweeted,

3. ‘Thorny Helix’ Tattoo
Tattoo: ‘Thorny Helix’ Tattoo on his back that continues down his spine.
Meaning: Just below his crucifix tattoo, Mcgregor has a helix of thorns going towards his lower back. Thorny helix tattoos have different meanings in different religions. Generally, it represents an homage to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
4. ‘Gorilla’ Tattoo
Tattoo: ‘Gorilla’ Tattoo on his chest.
Meaning: Conor got the tattoo of a ‘gorilla wearing a crown and eating a heart’ inked on his chest. Gorilla is the logo of ‘Straight Blast Gym-Ireland’ where Conor used to take mixed martial arts lessons from his head coach, John Kavanagh. Straight Blast Gym-Ireland is a mixed martial arts academy in Dublin that has produced several UFC fighters and is run by John Kavanagh.
