Canada Goose And October’s Very Own Have Your Spring Coat Sorted
You may not be a fan of Drake’s mum-friendly rap, but you can’t knock the man’s dress sense. And his October’s Very Own clothing label – an off-shoot off his OVO record label, keep up – is a solid way to buy into Drizzy’s off-duty style. Alongside his own line, the Canuck rapper is also partial to a collaboration, from the grail OVO x Air Jordans that went as fast as they came, to his annual hook-ups with compatriots Canada Goose. After four winter capsule, this season the pair collaborate on their first spring collection. And where the previous takes have been big on moody monochromes, for SS16, Drake’s lightening up. The two-piece, limited edition range is designed for unpredictable spring weather; available in black, and military green with a subtle camo print, the OVO Timber Shell is unlined, so you can sling it on over layers should things shift from sunshine to showers. The jacket is made from waterproof, breathable material, and is fully seam-sealed. For whipping wind the shell is cut longer in the back and underarm zippers allow for ventilation if things heat up. A reflective OVO owl on the right-hand chest and reflective tape under the sleeve provide additional safety for any nighttime adventuring. Now, if only its designer could show as much versatility on the mic. Available 9 April from canadagoose.com and Harvey Nichols.
