Bell & Ross BR 03-51 GMT-TWG Watch
Bell & Ross
A classic timepiece has always been the mark of a true gentleman, and whilst we may have moved away from the watch fob, the modern equivalent is no less chic. Especially as far as Bell & Ross are concerned. The luxury French brand was born in the early 1990s with a mission to create watches suited to men facing extreme situations: astronauts, pilots, divers and bomb-disposal experts. Basically, the guys living out our adolescent dreams. In their newest offering, Bell & Ross has collaborated with the UK’s leading independent luxury watch retailer, The Watch Gallery, to launch an exclusive new design: the BR 03-51 GMT-TWG. Not the snappiest of names, we’ll give you that – but it certainly lives up to the high expectations the brand sets out for itself. Water resistant up to 100 meters (and a screw down crown to increase water resistance), with two interchangeable straps – one black rubber and one heavy duty black canvas – the watch features hours, minutes, seconds, a big date at 12 o’clock and GMT function. Offset against the black dial, the hands, index marker and date window are white, with a luminous Super-LumiNova coating. The crystal – or in layman’s terms, the transparent cover on the face of the watch – is made of anti-reflective sapphire, which is highly resistant to scratching or shattering. The special edition design has been limited to just fifty pieces worldwide, with each watch individually numbered 1-50 on the case back, meaning you have a real piece of history. You can even chose your preferred number by purchasing either online or in-store.
