Amazon Goodthreads Review: Fit, Quality, Aesthetic & Value
In this hands-on Amazon Goodthreads review, we’ll see if this affordable menswear brand is worth the price.
Goodthreads is one of Amazon’s in-house men’s clothing brands. It’s a bit higher quality and more stylish than Amazon Essentials, but it’s not as dressy as their Buttoned Down line.
This is an affordable brand. Its styles are pretty timeless in a youthful sort of way. But how’s the quality? What about the fit?
Ultimately, is it worth your time and money?
The answer is yes…kind of. But it’s not perfect for everyone, especially guys with shorter, slimmer builds.
By the end of this review, you’ll know if Goodthreads is right for you, which items to buy and what to avoid.

The fit is slim in a subtle way. Don’t expect ASOS or H&M slimness with Goodthreads tops. I usually size up in the waist from 28 to 29 for skinny fit jeans, but I think 28 would work better here. Other than the waist, these actually fit really well. They’re not true “skinny fit” jeans, but they do have a nice taper from the thigh down (like Levi’s 511s). Plus, the price is very reasonable for selvedge denim. I love the color and feel of this vest, but it’s just too long for my 5’6? frame. If you’re 5’8? or taller, or if you have a long torso, this vest would fit much better on you than it does on me. I really like the color and the weight of the fabric this cardigan is made from, but it’s too long all around. Since it’s 100% cotton, it would probably shrink up quite a bit in the wash. Plus, the sleeves would be pretty easy to shorten at the tailor. Like all Goodthreads outerwear, this jacket is too long for the shorter build.Goodthreads Selvedge Skinny Jeans
