T.M.Lewin Skinny Suits

Men’s Formal Wear Chain Chases Younger Buyers

T.M.Lewin is vying for a slice of the young professional market with the launch of its new skinny range of suits. The formal wear chain is rolling out two styles for AW14, including an “ultra affordable” option aimed at men looking to buy their first. Jackman, Ledger and Franco, priced at £179, refer to a single-button polyester wool-blend suit with and flat front trousers. The names refer to the three available colour ways, navy, grey and black. The slightly higher priced Bradley and Porter models (£229) feature the same streamlined cut but are made from 100 per cent merino wool in navy and black. A complementary trouser hemming service is offered on both in store and online purchases of both styles. The launch comes as new research by One Poll on behalf of the UK government reveals looking smart is a top priority for today’s modern professional, with over two-thirds of men wearing suits to work. T.M.Lewin CEO, Geoff Quinn, said the findings are good news for the business, which was also recently unveiled as the official formal wear partner of Manchester City Football Club. “Today’s office professional appears to have a pretty good idea of the kind of image they need to project and it’s our job to keep creating fresh, new designs to help them create it.” The new skinny range is available to buy now in selected T.M.Lewin stores across the UK and online.
