2K22 Releases Official Gameplay Trailer

2K Games has released the official gameplay trailer for NBA 2K22 ahead of its September release on Playstation 5 and Xbox One XS. The gameplay reveal offers insights into the material developer Visual Concepts has created with hardware from Sony and Microsoft. In addition, 2K has also released a new courtside report detailing the game enhancements you’ll find in the latest version.

The video clip shows off new face scans and in-game animations including crowd dives, blocks, dunks, and jumpers, along with featuring Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic, WNBA star Candace Parker, as well as Donovan Mitchell, Zion Williamson, NBA Rookie of the Year Lamelo Ball, and incoming number #1 overall NBA Draft pick Cade Cunningham of the Detroit Pistons.

You’ll also see big name superstars such as Lebron James, Steph Curry, and Chris Paul on the clip, which is soundtracked by early 2000s throwback banger, Made You Look, by Nas.

As a Memphis Grizzlies fan, my favorite part of the trailer release was seeing Ja Morant rack up 124 and 17 steals. You’ll find that stat line flash briefly on the Jumbotron at the 1:13 minute mark of the trailer.

NBA 2K22 is now available for pre-order.
